For the fourth release in Montauk Brewing Company’s Ocean Series, I developed the color palette for the Salted Caramel Porter can. Working within an existing packaging system created by another designer on the team, my role was focused specifically on color - selecting a palette that captured the rich, warm character of a salted caramel porter while still feeling cohesive with the previous releases in the series. The final combination of caramel, amber, deep red, and near-black gives the beer its own identity while maintaining the established Ocean Series look.
