For this project, I was challenged to choose a national park and create a visual identity, informational brochure, and visitor takeaway experience inspired by what makes the park distinct. I chose Theodore Roosevelt National Park and built my concept around Roosevelt’s connection to the land and his belief in experiencing nature through close observation. Drawing from Western ephemera, field journals, and archival materials, I developed a tactile, collected visual system that encourages visitors to slow down and engage with their surroundings. The final experience includes a Unigrid brochure, vintage keepsake tin, interactive wildlife viewing guide, and field observation and junk journaling notebooks designed to turn a visit to the park into something visitors can document, personalize, and take home with them.
